History
We cordially invite you to take a journey with us into the villages of Lebanon and the streets of old Syria where for centuries our ancestors have perfected and passed on to us their secret family recipes. Layalina Restaurant was founded in 1997 by owners Souheil and Rima Kodsi who named the restaurant after their youngest daughter Layal. Layalina comes from a beautiful Arabic word meaning “Our Nights.”
Layalina is a family owned and operated establishment. Therefore, our restaurant is run by hard work and dedication to ensure that every customer feels right at home and returns again as part of our Layalina family. All of Rima’s recipes come from a combination of her Grandmother’s and her own special touch. Each dish is prepared fresh as if it were made in our own home. So if it takes a bit longer to get to your table, don’t worry, we are just putting extra love into the meal.
We welcome you to share our authentic ambiance, friendly conversation, family atmosphere, and delightful cuisine so that you can experience a memorable night with us at Layalina. We take special pride in each item on our menu and we hope your experience with us will be an unforgettable one. So sit back, relax, and step into the Middle East by letting us entice your senses through amazing aromas, incredible sights, and most of all remarkable flavor.
